UK£ continues to fall

Update:

The US$ is now the strongest it has ever been against the UK£, according to various news agencies:

Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity; this exchange rate represents a saving of around US$30,000 when compared to earlier exchange rates.  The UK government must undoubtedly do something to support the UK economy in the short-medium term.

It has been some time since I commented on the UK economy and the strength of the pound (UK£) compared with that of the dollar (US$).  The UK has serious economic problems and whilst we have confidence that our new government under Liz Truss will take firm action, in the here and now the current exchange rates presents a fifty year opportunity.  As I write the price of the pound to the dollar is £$1.144 (mid-market rate on www.xe.com ).  This is a drop in value of 19% over twelve months. Serious economic pundits are forecasting further falls to $1.10 to the pound although parity is unlikely.  Most of our potential customers are extremely savvy in the finance department; if now is not the time to purchase a barony title when is?
